This course is basically the same as above but with more time to explore each topic. It  also includes four additional hours of instruction and practice on how to read and use nautical charts. All boaters are subject to nautical rules and regulations.  Skippers should learn and respect traditional boating courtesies.  The courses are meant to be of interest to the entire family - older children are welcome.  We encourage your family to attend as a group.

At the conclusion of the class an examination is held and those who successfully complete course will be given a certificate which is recognized by United States Power Squadrons® the Marine Police and many Insurance Companies.
